Murder is a deadly way to start a relationship …

Finally back in Coronado and his own apartment but still tired from traveling, Taylor helps a neighbor by closing her apartment door as she dashes back to work. But, as he does so, a smell he’s all too familiar with permeates the air. And he’s plunged into a multiple homicide with no meaning or end …

Midge doesn’t understand what’s happened to her life, … but now her home, her workplace, her neighbors are all in danger and are all suspect. … Taylor is the only piece of normalcy in her world-gone-crazy right now.

But even he can’t keep an eye on her all the time …

  • Very good

I was kindly provided this book as an ARC; in exchange for my honest review. This is book 22 in the SEALs Of Honor series. This book revolves around Taylor; and Midge. This is a very extensive series; with several connected series. I would say it was close to as good/great as the previous books in series. It might help the reader to read the previous books in the series; but, it’s not critical for this book. Due to weather conditions where I’m at, I’m forced to shorten my review (WiFi keeps shutting down mid-load). This book reads more of a murder/mystery with a little romance on the side. Of course we get our hunky SEAL fix. Still a very good read; especially during blizzard conditions. Definitely worth the time and money. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • SEALS of Honor: Taylor (Looking Beyond the Surface)

    By Book Addict KJB
This is a complicated, page turner of murder and many, many questions -- who, why, and what next. Taylor, a Navy Seal, and Midge, working in a records office at the base, are neighbors in the apartment complex. As their lives intwine, making more and more discoveries, they explore more and more possibilities. Dale Mayer takes the reader down a complicated journey. I opened the book last night and finished it in a day. Bravo! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
  • Murphy’s Law!

    By Cheryl SDS
3.5 Stars This is book 21 in the SEAL’s of Honor series and it features Taylor and Midge. Midge’s life was like living Murphy’s Law. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Multiple murders, action, adventure and a HOT Navy SEAL to help with it all. Midge was a little fickle at times. A big deal was made out of the ticket but then we didn’t hear anymore about it. This story was a little predictable with a few holes but still a good read. Lots of surprises with a small amount of romance.
